6 WASIAT SAIDINA UMAR :

1. Jika engkau menemukan cela pada seseorang dan engkau mahu mencacinya, maka cacilah dirimu. Kerana, celamu lebih banyak darinya.

2. Bila engkau hendak memusuhi seseorang, maka musuhilah dahulu perutmu. Kerana, tidak ada musuh yang lebih berbahaya terhadapmu selain perut.

3. Bila engkau hendak memuji seseorang, pujilah ALLAH s.w.t.! Kerana, tiada seorang manusia pun lebih banyak dalam memberi kepadamu dan lebih santun lembut kepadamu selain DIA.

4. Jika engkau ingin meninggalkan sesuatu, maka tinggalkanlah kesenangan dunia. Sebab, andaikata engkau meninggalkannya, bererti engkau terpuji.

5. Bila engkau bersiap-siap untuk sesuatu, maka bersiaplah untuk mati. Kerana, jika engkau tidak bersiap untuk mati, engkau akan menderita, rugi penuh penyesalan.

6. Bilamana engkau ingin menuntut sesuatu, maka tuntutlah Akhirat. Kerana, engkau tak akan memperolehnya kecuali dengan mencarinya.

PCOS

Polycystic Ovarian Sindrome (PCOS) Awareness.


It is the most common female endocrine (hormonal) disorder and is characterized by multiple abnormal ovarian cysts. Most ovarian cysts are harmless, fluid-filled sacs containing immature eggs that attach to the ovaries. But multiple cysts, with a typical appearance of "a string of pearls" or "pearl necklace", are a hallmark of PCOS. An estimated 5-10% of women of childbearing age are affected by Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome and it is one of the leading causes of infertility. Post-menopausal women can also suffer from Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome.





Most PCOS sufferers are overweight or obese. But women of normal weight and even lean females can also suffer from this insidious condition. 
Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome can be a silent killer. Since the symptoms of PCOS can vary so widely from woman to woman, doctors very often misdiagnose the condition. This oversight became a matter of critical concern after a study conducted in 2000 found that women suffering from PCOS have a higher risk of coronary heart disease.



Symptoms of Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome can include:



  • excessive weight gain and obesity
  •  irregular, heavy or completely absent periods
  •  ovarian cysts
  • excessive facial or body hair
  •  Alopecia (male pattern hair loss)
  • acne, skin tags (growths from the skin)
  •  Acanthosis Nigricans (brown skin patches) 
  • high cholesterol levels
  • exhaustion or lack of mental alertness
  •  decreased sex drive 
  • excess male hormones
  • Other symptoms also include sleep apnea ( breathing problems during sleeping), thyroid disorders and depression and anxiety.





p/s: the syndrom can lead to various problems, and as a woman, I hope we can take precautions like maintaining a well-balanced diet, exercise, and be sure to monitor our body condition. Do record your menstruation cycle so that you can refer to the dates whenever anything goes wrong. If you have the symptoms stated above, especially irregular or absent periods, feel free to see a doctor, but an OB/GYN (pakar sakit puan) is the best. The cause is usually related to imbalance hormones, thus it is a bit difficult to say whether you have the syndrome unless you have yourself checked by experts.
